delectable dessert! I need a volunteer to perform the event
coordination for Victoria Boutenko's workshop at the end of May (30, 31).
In consideration for this you would be able to attend her event for free.
You will coordinate arrangements for Victoria, and assist her during the
workshop. Please
email me or call me if you are interested (870-1658). On Tuesday evening May 13 I am asking anyone
interested to join Gordon Callander and I at the Co-op's dining area to join us
for a light dinner (if you choose) and business meeting at 6pm. I am
hoping to assimilate some creative, talented folks into the leadership of Raw
Sacramento. Goals are to infuse the group with greater participation,
synergy, ideas, and sharing of the management and planning for the group.
If you have ideas, a little time, and care to contribute to the group's
direction & mission I urge you to attend. If you cannot, but you still
would like to contribute, please
send me an email, and I will add you to an email group for Raw Sacramento
Leadership.
We had a very enjoyable Potluck on May 4 in Elk Grove at the home of Gordon & Gladys Callander.
We had 3 absolutely wonderful desserts.

Healthy & Stay Balanced" seminar every Monday evening in Sacramento
- These are excellent with Raw Food Prep demos. Come any Monday you can! Victoria Boutenko is changing the date of
her workshop. Please see our events page
for updated information. Victoria has rescheduled for a
Friday Dinner and Intro and a full day class on Saturday only. Dates now
will be May 30 & 31.

Boutenko's "12 Steps to Raw Foods" Seminar.
June 19 -22 Modern Manna's Health & Healing Crusade
at Lodi, CA. (Not an exclusively raw event, but several of our members
attended last year & it was excellent). This event is free. Featured
presenters include Dr. Lorraine Day, Dr. John McDougall, John Robbins, Dr. Neal
Barnard, Charlotte Gerson and others. It is possible to bring a tent and
camp at the grounds of Lodi Grape Festival (where the event is held). This
event draws thousands and I highly recommend it.
